Suzette "Suzi" Rosser, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and the faith that carried her throughout her life. She was 61 years old.

Born on November 19, 1964, Suzi grew up in Houston, Texas, with her parents, Dewey and Loretta Howard, her siblings, Donna and David, and step-father, Donald R. Spiller. From an early age, she embraced life with enthusiasm, joy, and a spirit that naturally drew people to her. Music was one of Suzi's lifelong passions. She learned to play the piano and clarinet and carried her love of music with her throughout her life.

In high school, she was a talented baton twirler whose dedication and flair even led her to perform with flaming batons. Whether through music, dancing, laughter, or conversation, Suzi brought energy and joy wherever she went.

Professionally, Suzi built a successful career as a Commercial Insurance Account Executive. She was respected for her dedication, professionalism, and ability to build lasting relationships throughout her many years in the insurance industry before a brain injury changed the course of her life.

Of all her accomplishments, nothing brought Suzi greater pride than being a mother. Her three sons, Jeffrey, Matthew, and Christian Rosser, were the center of her world. Long before youth sports came with coordinated gear, social media posts, and custom tends, Suzi was the original dedicated baseball mom. She rarely missed a game, cheered the loudest, and supported her boys unwavering love and devotion.

Her greatest joy in later years came from becoming "Grandma."

She treasured every moment spent with her six granddaughters, Ellis, Hazel, and Lucie; Rory and Camille; and Lola. She had also just learned about the arrival of another grandchild on the way, a blessing that will forever remain part of her legacy of love.

In her quieter moments, Suzi found solace in reading and had a special fondness for days spent at Lake Madison. With an apple pie and frappe in hand from McDonald's, she would relax and watch the ducks and birds, taking in the serene beauty of nature.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dewey Earl Howard; maternal grandparents, William D. Owens and Laura M. (Slattery) Owens; paternal grandparents, Julius A. Howard and Cumalee (Evans) Howard; and step-father, Donald R. Spiller. She is survived by her mother, Loretta Sue Spiller; three sons, Jeffery Conrad Rosser (Justine), Matthew Anthony Rosser, and Christian Patrick Rosser (Kayce); sister, Donna Earlene Howard; brother, David Matthew Howard; granddaughters, Rory, Camille, Ellis, Hazel, Lucie, Lola, and one on-the-way; nieces, Laura Renee Jolly and Jennifer Michelle Torres; a great-niece, Billie Renee Torres; and countless family members and friends who will miss her deeply.

Suzi will be remembered for her infectious smile, her love for music and dancing, her generous heart, her fierce devotion to her family, and her ability to make every gathering brighter simply by being there.

While her family grieves her loss, they find comfort in knowing that she peacefully went home to the Lord she trusted and loved.

A celebration of Suzi's life will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 2 P.M., at First Methodist Church in Madisonville, Texas. Reverend of the church, Jim Jackson, will officiate the service.

Her memory will live on in the stories shared, the songs played, the laughter remembered, and the family she loved beyond measure.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to a favorite charity in honor of Suzi. Your generosity will continue her legacy of kindness and compassion.
