Ronald Eugene Brewer

Ronald Eugene Brewer, 66, of Bedias, Texas, was born on September 15, 1959, in Dallas, Texas, to parents, Melvin Eugene and Nora Odessa (Poarch) Brewer, and passed away on October 31, 2025, in Houston, Texas.

Ronald was a carpenter by trade and was naturally skilled in working with his hands. He was talented when it came to building and fixing things. He was passionate about BBQ, and he really enjoyed spending time with his animals, but one thing he got a kick out of more than others, was giving his friends and family a good ol’ hard time. This was one way you knew Ronald loved you, otherwise he wouldn’t bother.

Ronald had a very strong work ethic and set a great example for others to follow. He readily sought out to help others in need and never batted an eye to do whatever he could to assist them in the moment. Ronald will be fondly remembered as a loving husband, father, grandpa and great-grandpa! He cherished his family and always looked forward to his time with them all.

Ronald was preceded in death by both parents and his brother, Josh Haynes.

Those left to cherish Ronald’s memory are his loving wife of more than nineteen years, Dixie Davis Brewer; four daughters, Cheryl Chase (Mike), Kelly Ackley (Jesse), Elisha Kozak (Brandon), and Carol McClure (Josh); brother, Jace Brewer (Megan); step-mother, Cheril Malone Brewer; grandchildren, Alexis Pressley, Victoria Nuckols (Tony), Timothy Smith, Ivan Saenz, Emily Ackley, Kayla Ackley, Stephanie Ackley, Marcus Harmon, Crystal, and Samantha; five great-grandchildren; and numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends.

Visitation for Ronald will take place in the chapel of the Madisonville Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. The family will host a celebration of life at their residence 3 P.M., Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Bedias, Texas. Friends and family are invited to attend.

Final arrangements for Ronald Eugene Brewer are under the compassionate care and direction of Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.
