Raymond Dean Poynter, age 73, of Midway, Texas was born on May 22, 1951, in Houston, Texas and passed away on August 28, 2024. 

Raymond is fondly remembered by friends and family as a very sweet soul who was a true, one-of-a-kind and an absolute joy to be around. He was affectionately known as "Uncle Dean" to his family and always put on display a wonderful sense of humor. Raymond met the challenges of life with much grace and gratitude.

He will be dearly missed by a very large and loving family consisting of the Russells, the Hinnas and the Carters.
