Michael Dewayne Neal

December 18, 1966 — November 8, 2022

Michael Dewayne Neal

Michael DeWayne Neal was a dedicated father and husband to his surviving wife, Ana Maria Neal and their son, Brandon Lee Neal. He was born December 18, 1966, in Houston, Harris County, Texas. He grew up in Baytown, Texas. He worked hard his entire life to provide for his family.

Michael died November 8, 2022, in Houston, Texas. He was raised in Baytown Texas, where he graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. He is preceded in death by his parents, father; Mr. Tallent and mother; Mildred Leola Neal Fick. He was a dedicated son to his mother and a loyal friend to associates everywhere he went and everywhere he worked; but was especially dear to his loyal friends in Baytown. From the tender age of nine years old, Michael began working odd jobs to help support his mother, who suffered and struggled with illnesses which prevented her from working. He worked hard each day in the support of his wife and his son.

His passion from his early teenage years and throughout his life was associated with the building and repairs of high performance vehicles. He loved the dragstrip and racing in Baytown, Texas with his friends.

Michael enjoyed working on and rebuilding cars and trucks. This passion ultimately helped him gain and perfect his career path as a Commercial Technician. He started his career as a Technician at Stewart and Stevenson and ended his career at Midcoast Engine and Transmissions. He was respected and loved by those who worked over and alongside of him.

Michael loved the Great Smoky Mountains! He introduced his son and wife to those beautiful mountains in Tennessee and North Carolina. They also fell in love with those mountains that every summer for 10 years they vacationed in those beautiful mountains, hiking and exploring beautiful waterfalls and scenery. He, along with his son and wife dreamed of retiring in those mountains. Even though that won’t happen now, his wife and son will always share and cherish those beautiful memories of their visits there. These memories will always be cherished.

Michael loved music; his latest favorite song was “Keep the Wolves Away” sung by Uncle Lucius.

The Lord walked with Michael all the days of his life and helped him with his everyday struggles. Michael and Ana Maria were married in Baytown, and later sealed in marriage in the Dallas, Texas Temple. They are sealed for time and all eternity into a “Forever Family”. Michael waits there preparing a place for his wife and son when, in the Lord’s time, they will join him there to be joined together again in a state of never-ending life and happiness.

Michael DeWayne Neal was a faithful and dedicated father to Brandon and a loving and caring husband to His Surviving Wife, Ana Maria Neal. He will FOREVER be loved, FOREVER be missed, but will NEVER be forgotten.
