Lynda Annette Edwards, 91, of Spring, Texas passed away on February 22, 2024 in Tomball, Texas. She was born on December 18, 1932 in Freeport, Texas to John L. Rhodes and Jewel (Manning) Rhodes. Her greatest accomplishments in life were raising her child, buying her own home in Madisonville, and making quilts.

Lynda was preceded in death by both of her parents and husband, Buford "Ed" Edwards. She is survived by her son, Leslie Wade Rhodes (Lisa) of Spring, Texas; grandchild, Lindsey Kreger (Dustin) of Tomball, Texas; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Brooks and Brady Kreger; sister, Paula Sue Garcia (Oscar) of Coldspring, Texas; special friend, Kathy Honea of Spring, Texas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A funeral service for Lynda will be held 11 A.M., Monday, February 26, 2024 at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Joel Douget will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Park Cemetery in Madisonville, Texas.
