Loretta Kristine Waneck was born on January 24, 1969, in Houston, Texas. Her parents were Larry Wayne and Janice (Huddler) Wilson. She was raised in Houston and worked in the accounting and billing department for Shumberger. Loretta enjoyed fishing and hunting. She was a “country girl” at heart and loved spending time with her husband on their land near Midway, Texas. They visited often and dreamed of one day retiring and building a home there. Loretta had lived in Spring since 1999 and was Baptist in faith.

She passed away suddenly on December 21, 2017, in Midway, Texas. Loretta was preceded in death by both of her parents. She is survived by mother, Sheila Wilson; husband, Ronald Waneck of Spring; son, Cody Waneck & wife, Hannah, of Katy; daughters, Amanda Shortt & husband, James, of Hempstead and Taylor Waneck of Spring and brothers, Wayne Wilson of Houston, Brandon Tyroch & wife, Leigh Ann, of Houston and Jason Tyroch & wife, Gina, of Porter. Loretta is also survived by granddaughter, Eliza Shortt.

Funeral services for Loretta will be held at 10 A.M., Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas. Jordan Trapp will officiate the service. A visitation will be held from 8 A.M. until service time at the funeral home on Friday.
