Linda S. Buckalew, 83, of Bedford, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Stonebridge Health Campus.

Born September 3, 1942, in Houston, she was the daughter of Floyd Laramore and Beulah Bernice (Phillips) and Ranton Rhodes. She married Harvey Buckalew on July 5, 1963, and he proceeds her in death. Linda was a legal secretary and loved taking care of her family and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include one son, Brent (Jeanette) Buckalew of Bedford, Indiana; one daughter, Melody (Calvin) Thacker of Kirbyville, Texas; five grandchildren, Ashton, Dalton, Meaghan, Jeremy, and Emma; three great-grandchildren, Trinity, Harvey William, and Harvey John. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister, Darla Giles.

A graveside service for Linda will be held 1 P.M., Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Bedias Baptist Cemetery, Bedias, Texas. Bro. Glenn Connor will officiate the service.
