Funeral services for Lawrence Farris, age 62, will be held at 11 A.M., Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas. Interment will be in the Plainview Cemetery outside of Madisonville. Visitation will take place from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M., Monday, January 15th at the funeral home.

Lawrence Steven Farris was born on July 24, 1955, in San Jacinto, Texas to Louie & Wallie (Starr) Farris and grew up in Crosby, Texas. He worked as a foreman and heavy equipment operator for Remedial Services, LP (RECON), a hazardous waste remediation business. This job took him to various locations where there were hazardous waste conditions. Lawrence enjoyed auctioneering, collecting and selling antiques and watching NASCAR. He passed away on January 11, 2018, in Baytown, Texas. Lawrence was preceded in death by his father, brother, Doug Farris and sister, Elaine Farris.

Surviving family members include mother, Wallie Guy of Peggs, OK; daughter, Sabrina Farris & husband, Daniel Page of Holden MO; brother, James Welsey Guy of Locust Grove, OK; sister, Briggitte Guy of Pryor, OK and grandchild, Landen Daniel Page.

Pallbearers: Donnie Johnston, Willie McFee, Donny Brown, Johnnie Lowe, Roger Warrior & Shannon King.

Honorary pallbearers: Daniel Page, Eliah Hensel & Scott Benson.
