Funeral services for Larry Springer, age 71, of Madisonville, will be held 2 P.M., Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the Madisonville Funeral Home. Pastor Terry Bryan will officiate the service followed by interment in Allphin Cemetery. A public visitation will be held Friday, August 24th from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the funeral home.

Larry Wayne Springer was born October 5, 1946 in Gainsville, Texas to Clyde Lummus & Thelma Catherine (Bennet) Springer. He worked as a powerline superintendent for Bailey Construction and had lived in Madisonville for the past forty-five years.

Larry passed away August 22, 2018 at his home. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; sons, Tim & Kenneth Springer and sisters, Betty Jo Ranft and Margaret Jefferies.

Surviving family members include wife, Jackie Springer of Madisonville; son, Dewayne Springer (Candace) of Riverside; daughter, Shelly Springer Culp of Madisonville; sister, Ruby Bone (Charles) of Athens and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas.
