Krystal Zaria Pfleiderer

October 14, 1986 — April 28, 2026

Bedias, Texas

Krystal Zaria (Uhlman) Pfleiderer, 39, made her glorious entrance into the world on October 14, 1986, in Tucson, Arizona, to the delight of her parents, Christopher Uhlman and Gayla Gean, and passed away on April 28, 2026, in Madisonville, Texas. She was full of life and had a beautiful impact on the lives of people that will not soon be forgotten.

Krystal was a joy to be around as she made every effort to be present with friends and family. She was very creative and had many passions, but a couple standouts were crafting and gardening and she always looked forward to the holidays. Her favorite flower was the stargazer lily and orange was her color of choice, so no surprise, she was a Texas Longhorn fan. Krystal also enjoyed singing and was gifted with a beautiful voice that blessed those within hearing distance. Animals were another important part of Krystal’s life, especially her dogs and cats. She was always eager to spend time on her little farm with her chickens, goats and her pigs, Fred and Wilma.

Krystal was a dedicated employee at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice where she made a great contribution to the human resources team. She studied at Brigham Young University in Idaho where she received her associate’s degree in early childhood development and was working towards her associate’s degree in business management. Krystal persevered gracefully through the challenges of life and always wore a contagious smile. She was patient and nurturing, both of which were easily observed in how she cared for children while teaching them in Sunday school and headstart, as she helped shape the lives of future generations.

It goes without saying that Krystal loved her family, including her countless nieces and nephews. She loved being an aunt and valued every moment with them. However, her greatest joy in life was being a mom to her beautiful children and a faithful wife to her husband Jason, who she absolutely adored. They were married on April 17, 2010, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Madisonville, Texas and have navigated each day with cherished commitment to one another. Hauling her kids to all their extracurricular activities and football games was another expression of her love and devotion. Krystal’s life was characterized by loving sacrifice and service to others. She will be remembered with great fondness as one who poured her heart into those around her.

Krystal is preceded in death by her grandfather, Joseph Uhlman and nephew, Mason Krejci.

Those left to cherish Krystal’s memory are her husband, Jason Pfleiderer; children, Jaxson and Natalee Pfleiderer; parents, Christopher Uhlman and Gayla Gean (Benjamin); step-mother, Mitzi Mitchem; six brothers, Gabriel Uhlman, Leon Uhlman, Samuel Uhlman (Christian), Isaac Uhlman, Austin Martin and Seth Strenge; three sisters, Alexandria Uhlman, Jessica Strenge and Katelin Lawson as well as numerous treasured nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends.
