Judy Ann Martinez, beloved wife, devoted friend, and cherished member of the Madisonville community, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on December 21, 1953, in Madisonville, Texas, Judy was a lifelong resident of this close-knit town, where she touched the hearts of many with her warmth and kindness.

Judy had an unwavering passion for life and a multitude of talents that she shared generously with those around her. She found great joy in tending to her garden, where her vibrant flowers mirrored her spirit. A talented seamstress, Judy took great pride in creating beautiful pieces, and her love for cooking and canning filled her home with delightful aromas and happy memories. She was an avid reader, particularly fond of romance novels, which reflected her romantic and optimistic outlook on life.

She was known for her infectious laughter and pleasant demeanor, which made everyone feel welcome and at ease in her presence. Judy built lasting relationships with family, friends, and colleagues throughout her career as a sales representative in the food and beverage industry. Her warmth and genuine personality will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Joe David and Ramona Ann (Neal) Kelly and brother, Billy Joe Kelly. She is survived by her husband, Joe Martinez; daughter, Angela Martinez; brother, Jerry Kelly (Sandy); sister, Barbara Bullitt; sister-in-law, Linda Kelly; and cousin, Randy Neal.
