Jessie Lee Brown was born on November 29, 1958, in Midway, Texas to Harvey Shepard and Reba Brown. He was a lifelong resident of Midway, Texas and made the segue to eternity on July 11, 2024.

Jessie will be fondly remembered as a friendly man with a kind disposition. He never met a stranger and could hold others’ attention as long as needed to express his thoughts and opinions. He was enjoyable to converse with and never met a stranger. Jessie possessed a strong work ethic. He was a very hard worker and was diligent to his duties. He loved his family and friends and close behind them was the Dallas Cowboys. “America’s Team” was a passion of Jessie’s, and he was loyal regardless of the season’s outcome. 

 A memorial service will be held in the chapel at the Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 10 A.M.

 Jessie was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ernest Lee Byas.

Those left to cherish Jessie’s memory are his brothers, Troy Adam Byas of South Dakota and Arthur Byas of Sioux City, Iowa; sister, Estell Brown of Midway, Texas; and sister in law, Evadell Byas; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends.
