On November 9, 1938, Inez was born to the union of James A.D. and Minnie Bell Coleman. She was born in Douglassville, Texas and later moved to Normangee, Texas. Inez worked as a private caregiver for many years. She worked hard to make sure her family always had what they needed.

Inez was preceded in death by her mother, Minnie Bell; father, James A.D.; step-father, Harvey Drewey; brothers, George, Richard, James, Jr., Michael and Alfonso; sisters, Evelena, Janie Pearl and Pauletta; son, George Coleman; daughter, Alice Dewberry; and grandchild, Latasha Coleman.

Left to cherish the love, life and memories are daughter, Carolyn Jones (Eddie Jones, Sr.); sisters, Deborah, Jackie, Wytina and Valerie; along with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A homegoing celebration for Inez Coleman will be at 1 P.M., Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. She will be laid to rest in Culton Cemetery, Leona, Texas.
