Homegoing services for Helen Jean Wooten, 72, of Houston, Texas will take place at 11 A.M., Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Southside Cemetery in Midway, Texas. Bro. Howard Watson will officiate the service.

Helen enjoyed helping the community. She loved people, especially kids, as she was a teacher for many years. Helen was a very positive person that loved serving the Lord.

She is survived by her sister, Alma Davis of Madisonville, Texas; brothers, Doug Harrison of Houston, Texas, Robert Goffney of Port Arthur, Texas, and Michael Goffney of Midway, Texas and nieces who were her caregivers, Tamala Butler, Vanessa Machett, ShaCarrie Machett and Karrie Machett.

The family of Ms. Helen would like to thank everyone for their condolences and support.
