Harry Herbert Faw

Harry Herbert Faw, age 90, of Midway, Texas passed away November 22, 2022 in Bryan, Texas. He was born December 6, 1931 in Brownsville, Texas to Homer Herbert & Ruby Pearl (McCaleb) Faw.


Harry worked as an operator for a chemical company and had lived the majority of his life in Texas with the exception of fifteen years in Bartlesville, OK. Harry was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran. He enjoyed woodworking, reading and watching sports on television. Harry was a natural born leader and seemed to find leadership positions in every club he was a member of, including President of the local Lyons Club and Pasadena Alumni Citizens Patrol, as well as the Little League Association. Harry was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. Soon after moving to Midway he became a member of Elwood Baptist Church and had served as an ordained Deacon in Golden Acres Baptist Church.


Harry was preceded in death by both of his parents; wife, Eunice Faw (2021); sisters, Margie and Ruby and son-in-law, Nathan Allred.


Surviving family members include sons, Brian Faw (Lori) of League City and Edwin Faw (Cheryl) of Midway; daughter, Rhonda Allred of Midway; grandchildren, Dustin (Heather), Joel (Rebecca), Brittney (Louie), Heather, Laura (Will), Christopher (Cortny), Matthew and Loren and fifteen great-grandchildren.


Funeral services for Harry will be held 3 P.M., Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Bro. Glenn Connor will officiate the service. Interment will be in Midway Cemetery. A public visitation will take place Friday evening, November 25th from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the funeral home.


Arrangements are under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas
