Gloria June Heath, 89, was born January 23, 1937, in Galena Park, Texas, to Joe Bailey and Willie Faye (Parker) Harrington, and passed away on May 5, 2026, in Madisonville, Texas.
On June 28, 1958, June married the love of her life, Charles E. Heath Sr. and together they began their family and later established their lifelong home on the Heath Ranch in Madisonville, Texas. Their marriage was a beautiful partnership marked by faith, devotion, and a shared commitment to family and to the ranch they tended side by side.
June lived her life as a devoted pastor’s wife, faithfully serving alongside her husband and sharing her deep love for Jesus with everyone she met. Known for her kindness and generous spirit, she poured herself into others with a sincerity that made each person feel seen and cherished. She adored her family and friends, and her home was often filled with the comforting aroma of her famous chicken and dumplings or one of her special desserts she joyfully baked. Her passion for people was evident in every conversation, every hug, and every act of service. Through her gentle presence and unwavering faith, she reflected the love of Christ in a way that touched countless lives.
June dedicated more than 30 years to the banking industry, serving faithfully as a bank teller and as the welcoming face in the drive‑through window. Through countless transactions and daily conversations, she touched hearts simply by being patient, helpful, and always eager to brighten someone’s day. She concluded her long and meaningful career with Wells Fargo, retiring in 1999 after decades of service marked by kindness, integrity, and the deep connections she formed with the community she loved.
After retirement, she embraced a new chapter working alongside her husband on their ranch, caring for their cattle and the rolling acres they called home. Whether helping with daily chores or enjoying the quiet rhythm of ranch life, she poured the same devotion and gentle strength into this work that she had shown throughout her career and her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles E. Heath Sr.; brother, Billy Joe Harrington and her grandson, Chris Heath.
