Gary Lynn Flowers was born July 10, 1950 in Lubbock, Texas to Joseph Everett and Thelma Reba (Thrasher) Flowers. He grew up and lived most of his life in Madisonville, Texas. Gary was employed by the Texas Department of Transportation for many years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Madisonville.

Gary passed away June 6, 2018 Bryan, Texas at the age of sixty-seven years. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; sisters, Betty Payne and Darlene Shirley and brothers, Charles and Dennis Flowers.

Surviving family members inlcude brother, Ronnie Flowers of Groveton; sisters, Shirley Ennis of McLean, Nona McLarin of Wahsington State, Lorna Womble of Madisonville, Karen McWhorter of Pasadena and Margaret Armbrister of Madisonville and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas.
