Eva Janet Binnicker

Eva Jane (Scott) Binnicker was born March 23, 1932 in Franklin, Texas. Her parents were Pinkney Cornett & Edna Pauline (Johnson) Scott. She was married to Bobbie L. Binnicker. Eva worked for Sears Department Store for thirty years while living in Houston. She then moved to Buffalo, Texas. In 2004, Eva made her home in Madison County where she was a member of the North Madison Church of Christ Church and the Madisonville Order of the Eastern Star #193.

Eva enjoyed fishing, baking, taking care of her cows and processing deer that her sons had killed. She was a devoted mother, doing her best to attend every sporting event and piano recital in which her children were involved. Eva was also a wonderful grandmother and great grandmother. Family was what was most important to Eva and she loved each one of them dearly.

Eva passed away January 24, 2018 in Madisonville, Texas. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Bobbie L. Binnicker; sister, Hilda Leo Caballero; grandsons, Gary Lynn II, Samuel Lee & Jeremy Binnicker; great grandson, Cash McVey Blumrick and step brothers, Truman, Herbert & William Scott.

Surviving family members include sons, Ronald (Kerry) Binnicker of Houston, Gary (Linda) Binnicker of Decatur, IL and Rick Binnicker of Madisonville; daughter, Marion (Milton) Salter of Montgomery and sisters, Katherine May of League City and Amanda Walker of Livingston. Eva is also survived by grandchildren, Kim Blumrick, Brian Salter, Gary Lynn Binnicker III, Erica Devantier, Virginia Lopez, Elizabeth Binnicker, Allison Bowers, Todd Binnicker, Sabrina Binnicker Mauer & Stacey Binnicker and great grandchildren, Declan Blumrick, Cullan Blumrick, Destiny Binnicker, Nick Binnicker, Selah Devantier, Shaun Devantier, Mason Binnicker, Brileigh Binnicker, Lydia Bowers, Judith Bowers, Jayden Salter & Lincoln Salter.

Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M., Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas. Interment will follow in the Sardis Cemetery near Jewett, Texas in rural Leon County. A public visitation will take place Friday, January 26th from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers: Ronnie Binnicker, Gary Binnicker, Rick Binnicker, Todd Binnicker, Brian Salter, Gary Lynn Binnicker III and Milton Salter.

Honorary Pallbearers: Kristofer Mauer, Sheldon Devantier, Teddy Bowers, Justin Lopez and Chad Blumrick.

In lieu of flowers the Binnicker family requests that memorial donations be made to the North Madison Church of Christ, P.O. Box 520, Madisonville, Texas 77864.
