Donald Warren Mcgalliard

Donald Warren McGalliard was born September 22, 1949 in Ada, Oklahoma to Odus Lee & Mary Ruby (Woodruff) McGalliard. He was raised in Oklahoma and served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era. Donald had worked as a mud engineer for Rainbow Pipeline and Parten Enterprises.

Donald loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He drove his own Harley every time he had an opportunity to do so. He also enjoyed fishing. Donald had five grandchildren and loved when he was able to spend time and interact with them.

Donald was a member of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, Bedias Lodge #651 and had lived in Madisonville since 1981.

Donald passed away July 10, 2018 in Bryan, Texas. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; sister, Kay Tucker and step-son, Scott Baccus. He is survived by wife, Eloise McGalliard of Madisonville; sons, Warren McGalliard (Christy) of Huntsville and Monty Baccus (June) of Sugarland; daughters, D’et Hoover (Greg) of Katy and Melanie Baccus of Clearlake and sister, Jackie Henry of Portland, OR. Donald is also survived by grandchildren, Celeste, Ben and Paige Hoover & Ashton and Ansley McGalliard.

A gathering of family and friends will take place Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Madisonville Funeral Home followed by a celebration of life service Monday, July 16th at 1 P.M. at the funeral home. Rev. Richard White will officiate the service.

Arrangements are under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas.
