A funeral service honoring the life of Dennis Gentry, age 67, of Waxahachie, Texas will be held 1 P.M., Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Bro. Glenn Connor will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Cross Cemetery, Grimes County, Texas. A brief visitation will take place prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home from 11 A.M. to service time.

Dennis Earl Gentry was born April 13, 1955 in Dallas, Texas to Grady, Sr. & Robbie (Coldiron) Gentry. He lived in the Dallas metroplex most of his life near his family. Dennis was passionate about riding motorcycles and spending time with his family. He passed away March 24, 2023 in Mesquite, Texas.

Dennis was preceded in death by both of his parents; wife, Tina Gentry and siblings, Maurine Fielding and G.H. Gentry. Surviving family members include children, Cristina Gentry of Mesquite, Josh Gentry and wife, Brittany of Sulphur Springs, Lisa Powers of Waxahachie, and Lucas Gentry of Sulphur Springs; six siblings and grandchildren, Danielle Patterson and husband, Chris, Lane Gentry, Dustin Gentry, Morgan Gentry, Kaylen Gentry, Micah Gentry, Faith Powers, Bailey Powers and Jay Powers.

Arrangements are under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.
