Billy Ross "Bill" Bradley, a devoted husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on September 5, 1945, in Lawton, Oklahoma to Rosson Jefferson & Dixie (Drungoole) Bradley. Bill spent his life embracing the joys of the great outdoors, where he found his passion for fishing, hunting, barbecuing, also playing and watching sports. A true man's man, he played semi-pro baseball in his youth and carried that spirit of competition and camaraderie throughout his life.
Those who knew Bill described him as tough as nails, but he had a heart of gold that resonated with everyone he encountered. He had a knack for fixing things, always ready with a stern but loving finger shake when offering guidance or support. It was the simple pleasures that brought him happiness, especially barbecuing, coffee, and a cigarette. His humor and love for fun were infectious, making him a beloved figure in the lives of many.
In the end, Bill gave himself to the Lord, finding peace in his faith, and we find comfort in knowing that he is at rest. As we gather to honor Bill, may we remember the laughter, the adventures, and the love he shared with all of us. His memory will live on in our hearts forever.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; step-son, Richie Lee May; siblings, Donald Ray Bradley, Patricia Ann Brand and Dorthy May Jones; and son-in-law, Kevin Brown. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Sue Bradley; children, Kimberly Kristin Hudson, Kerri Leann Bradley (Patrick Santiago), Ross Andrew Bradley, Karlie Katherine Bradley (Skip Cohen), Mary Elizabeth Bradley (Mike Langley), Tiffany Lynn Thomas, Robert Nathan May (Christina May); twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Louella V Rushing, Ronald David Bradley, Dixie Gail Pike and William Jones; and numerous extended family.
