Albert "Dean" Casey, 89, of Jewett, Texas, passed away on April 12, 2026, in Bryan, Texas. He was born on November 22, 1936, in North Zulch, Texas, to Henry Albert and Ruby Jewel (Andrus) Casey. 

Dean was a dedicated problem-solver, always ready to take on a new challenge. Whether fixing mechanical issues or tackling household repairs, Dean found joy in keeping things running smoothly. His varied expertise also extended to television and air conditioning repair, showcasing his eclectic skill set. Beyond work, Dean embraced the outdoors with enthusiasm. He loved spending weekends hunting and fishing, whether it was shrimping, lake fishing, or the thrill of offshore excursions. Dean thrived on being busy, always eager to engage with life and pass on his knowledge to others.

Dean was preceded in death by both of his parents; his wife, Billie; and the mothers of his children, Patsy and Martha. He is survived by his son, Michael Casey (Karen); daughter, Terry Casey Wilcox (Steve); grandchildren, Jasmin, Cory, and Rachel; brother, Kenneth R Casey; and sisters, Anita Casey Jaquet, Barbara Casey Vanderbrink, Carol Casey Davis, Charlene Casey Floyd, and Tena Casey Hodges, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Dean will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, April 16, 2026, in Willowhole Cemetery. Bro. Glenn Connor will officiate the service. A visitation will take place from 10 A.M. until service time, also at Willowhole Cemetery.
