Thomas Joseph Gustavus, Sr.

Graveside services for Thomas Gustavus, Sr., 72, will be held 2 P.M., Monday, December 23, 2019 at Willowhole Cemetery near North Zulch, Texas.

Thomas Joseph Gustavus was born August 26, 1947 in Houston, Texas. His parents were Emmett & Georgia (Vaughn) Gustavus. He attended North Zulch High School and served his country in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Vietnam for nearly a year. Thomas worked as a heavy equipment operator and truly enjoyed his job. He was also an avid coin collector and liked gardening, especially roses, as well as, going to flea markets.

Thomas passed away December 19, 2019 in Springfield, Missouri. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and sister, Helen. Surviving relatives include sons, Jerry Gustavus of Oakhurst, Eric Gustavus of Springboro, OH and Thomas Gustavus, Jr. of Conroe; brothers, Hershal & Jerry Goodman and sister, Pearle Bell. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
