Ronald William Greenfield

Funeral services for Mr. Ronald Greenfield, 83, will be held 3 P.M., Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Living Truth Church, Madisonville, Texas. Bro. Lon McVeigh will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Ten Mile Cemetery in rural Madison County, Texas. A brief visitation will take place prior to the service Thursday at the church from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M.

Ronald William Greenfield was born February 3, 1938 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to William & Eleanor (Case) Greenfield. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and had lived in numerous towns in Texas before settling in Normangee in 1990. Ronald worked on oil rigs most of his life, and after retirement he worked on shut downs in the toolroom. Ronald was a member of Living Truth Church in Madisonville. He passed away June 22, 2021 at his home in Normangee.

Ronald was preceded in death by both of his parents and wife of fifty-eight years, Valda Greenfield (2018). Surviving family includes son, David Hines & wife, Peggy of Tarpley; daughters, Robbie Keys & husband, David of Sugar Land, Debbie Atherton & husband, David of Conroe, Beth Gross & husband, Charlie of Winder, GA and Tami Dean & husband, John of Normangee; brothers, Tom Greenfield & wife, Lynn of Michigan and Mike Greenfield & wife, Peggy of Michigan, as well as twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers: Jonathan Dean, Charlie Gross, John Dean, Johnny LaBouve, Homer Killpatrick
