Paula Ann Hargrave

Paula Ann Hargrave, age 71, of Bedias, Texas, passed away October 25, 2018. She was surrounded by her husband and children to give her to Jesus, her Savior.

Paula was born to Paul W. and Doris (Lummus) Webster in Groesbeck, Texas on March 20, 1947. She married Henry M. Hargrave of Bedias, Texas August 16, 1963 at Cypress Baptist Church, Cypress, Texas and shared fifty-five years and seventy days together. Paula retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2002 and had served for about twenty-six years as Postmaster of Bedias, Texas. She was a past member of the Bedias Baptist Church and Madisonville Christian Fellowship of Madisonville and current member of Cornerstone Bible Church of Madisonville.

Paula was preceded in death by father, Paul W. Webster; mother and father-in-law, Marie and Henry B. Hargrave and many uncles and aunts.

She is survived by husband, Henry M. Hargrave of Bedias; sons, Hank and wife, Mary Ann Hargrave of Normangee and Darryl and wife, Gloria Hargrave of Conroe; daughter, Heidi Murphy of Bedias; mother, Doris V. Webster of Thornton; grandchildren, Luke, Bailey, Kaytlyn, Emily, Hayley, Louisa and Maggie and great grandsons, Isaac, Gunner and Gage. Paula is also survived by brother, Randall Webster of Thornton; sisters, Dorothy Schuster of Kosse and Denise Thompson of College Station; brothers-in-law, Tommy and Nobuka Hargrave of Mason, OH and Dennis and Kathy Hargrave of Palestine; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as, a host of friends and family.

A gathering of family and friends will take place Monday, October 29, 2018 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 A.M. the following day, Tuesday, October 30th at the funeral home. Pastor David Medina and Associate Pastor Jerry Huff, both of Cornerstone Bible Church, Madisonville, Texas, will officiate the service. Interment will follow in the Bedias Baptist Cemetery in Bedias, Texas.
