Paul Edward Clark

Paul Edward Clark was born July 12, 1941 in Fresno, California to Royce Clyde & Lois (Brown) Clark. He lived in Houston most of his life where he worked as a switchman for Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railways. After thirty years of service to his career, Paul retired and moved to Madisonville where he enjoyed mowing the grass, gardening, taking care of his ten acre homestead and bowling. He also loved listening to country and gospel music and was an avid fan of the Houston Astros Baseball League.

Paul had lived in Madisonville for the past seventeen years and was a member of Union Baptist Church. He passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019 in Bryan, Texas and was preceded in death by both of his parents; son, Michael Clark; daughter, Loretta Clark and sister, Louise.

Surviving family members include wife, Theresa Clark of Madisonville; daughters, Laurie & Melody; sister, Nancy Adams (Larry) of Fowler, CA; aunt, Velma Ruth Asbill of Edgewood; grandchildren, Adam, James & Katherine and great-grandchildren, Robert & Chloe. Paul is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

Funeral services for Paul will take place 11 A.M., Friday, April 26, 2019 at Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas. Brad Brock will officiate the service. Interment will be in Ten Mile Cemetery in rural Madison County. The Clark family will receive friends Thursday, April 25th from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the funeral home.
