Linda Marie Baskin

Linda Marie Baskin of Bedias, Texas passed away August 5, 2020 at the age of 73. She was born November 6, 1946 in Houston, Texas to the late Kenneth Howard and the late Marie Wilson. She was a graduate of CyFair High School and attended Rice Academy of Cosmetology. She married her best friend and love of her life, Mike Baskin on August 27, 1966. They were married for 53 years.

Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Cornerstone Bible Church. She enjoyed ministering to the community with her God given talent to cook. She would provide meals for families in need and deliver annual Christmas tea cakes to local businesses and individuals. She had many talents that she enjoyed from decorating cakes to creating flower arrangements. She loved her family, church, and community.

Linda is survived by her husband Mike; children, Chad Baskin and wife Kimberly, Cody Baskin and wife Juana; grandchildren, Callie Adams, Brady and Emma Baskin; great-grandchildren, Lynleigh and Sutton Adams; siblings, Sharon Matzke and husband Ernst, Frank Wilson, Marilyn Frank and husband Bill, and Gary Wilson. Serving as Pallbearers will be Kent Smith, Trent Longron, George Heartfield, Ross Bates, Terry Collins and James Lee.

Visitation will be held at Madisonville Funeral Home from 5 pm-7 pm on Saturday, August 8, 2020 with a funeral at the Cornerstone Bible Church on Sunday, August 9th at 2 pm. A graveside service followed by burial will be at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas at 2 pm on Tuesday, August 11, 2020.
