Graveside services for Joanne Massey, age 58 of North Zulch, Texas, will be held at 2 P.M., Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Willowhole Cemetery in North Zulch. There will be no public visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas.

Joanne Marie Massey was born October 23, 1960 in Dallas, Texas. Her parents were Delbert G., Jr. & Mary (Hilsher) Massey. She trained quarter horses for a living and also took care of other animals. These were her favorite things to do. Joanne had lived in North Zulch since August 1993, coming from Magnolia, Texas. She passed away May 17, 2018 in Houston, Texas following a brief battle with brain cancer. Joanne was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Massey.

Surviving family members include father, Delbert G. Massey, Jr. of Fayetteville, AR; brother, Phillip (Shawn) Massey of Ft. Worth and sisters, Mary Fleck of Fayetteville, AR and Sheila (Bart) Ullrich of Whitesboro. Joanne is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
