Jessie Lee Williams, Jr.

Homegoing services for Jessie Williams, Jr., age 64, of Madisonville, will be held 2 P.M., Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville. Pastor D.F. Johnson will officiate the service, and interment will be in the Tanyard Cemetery in the Tanyard Community of northeastern Madison County. Visitation will be held 5 P.M. to 7 P.M., Friday, December 28th at the funeral home.

Jessie Lee Williams, Jr. was born the late Mr. & Mrs. Jessie Lee Williams, Sr. on July 2, 1954 and passed away from this life on December 21, 2018.

Jessie graduated from Centerville High School in 1972. After graduation, he moved to Madisonville, Texas where he met the love of his life, Betty. Jessie worked as a stocking associate for Carter’s Grocery, Godwins, Walmart and Evans Grocery. He was a hard worker. During times when Jessie was not working, he enjoyed watching sports, as well as, spending time with his grandchildren. He had lived the majority of his life in Madisonville and was a member of Bloom of Life Baptist Church in the Tanyard Community.

Jessie was preceded in death by both of his parents; He leaves to share in this great homegoing wife, Betty Williams of Madisonville; sons, Zachary Williams of Madisonville and Gerome Williams (Kitty Randle) of Madisonville; daughters, Jeniece Williams (Teandre McQueen) of Madisonville and Jeanette Ford (Jason) of Centerville; brothers, Jessie Ford of Trinity, Bobby Joe Williams (Elizabeth) of Lancaster and Curtis Williams (Bridgett) of Madisonville and sisters, Linda Matthews (Fred) of Jacksonville and Glenda F. Williams of Madisonville. Jessie is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; one great granddaughter; special friend, Marion Tucker and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and other relatives & friends.
