Ida Faye Fontaine

My Work on Earth is Done:

John 17:4 (KJV)“I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.”

Ida Faye (Wiley) Fontaine was born on January 7,1956 to the union of Herman and Berlin Wiley in Madisonville, Texas.  She attended Marian Anderson High School of Madisonville, Texas.  Ida was a homemaker and later in her life, she married Willie James McAdams, Sr. until his time of death in 1999.  She went on to later marry Rocky Fontaine.

Ida accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age.  She loved doing the work of Christ and always made herself available to those far and near. Ida was no stranger to anyone. She was well known in the community as a sweet, caring woman of God with a heart of gold.  Ida continued to unselfishly open the doors of her home to anyone in need.  Her duties were endless, from conducting in-house Bible studies to being an intercessory prayer warrior. There has never been a moment where she would pass up a praying or witnessing opportunity.  Her family was her everything and her memories will forever live.  Ida was a member of Sweet Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Toni Green.

Ida made serving the Lord and Ministry a part of her daily life until God called her from her earthly home to eternity on Friday, March 4, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Berlin Wiley; first husband, Willie McAdams Sr.; brothers, John Wiley, Charles Wiley, Clennon Wiley and Tom Wiley; sister: Margaret Wiley and grandsons, Da’Quincy Betts and Kiren McAdams.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: husband, Rocky Fontaine of Fort Worth; two sons, Bobby Winn (Tiffani) and Willie McAdams, Jr (Leslie) of Madisonville; two daughters, Shalette Green of Arlington and Mable McAdams of Madisonville; one brother, Melvin Wiley (Ennis) of Bedias; three sisters, Betty Wiley, Jarvis Green and Jerlee Wiley all of Madisonville; 17 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a bonus sister/prayer partner, Patricia Williams and a host of family and friends.
