Eduardo Torres

Eduardo Torres, age 55, passed away September 8, 2021 in San Gregorio Atlapulco, Xochimilco, CDMX Mexico. He was born October 15, 1965 in Santa Ines, MOR, Mexico to Telesforo Torres and Cira Toledano. He had been a resident of Madisonville since 1985 and was Catholic in faith. Eduardo was employed as a mechanic at Madisonville Kawasaki and liked watching soccer, working out, cooking with his family, learning math from his grandson and working on his avocado ranch. He also enjoyed traveling back to his home town in Mexico. His wife, Susana, was the love of his life. Eduardo liked to keep busy and usually could not be found sitting down.

Eduardo was preceded in death by his father, Telesforo Torres and sister, Martina Torres. His surviving family members include mother, Cira Toledano; wife, Susana Gonzales; sons, Alan Torres & Alexander Torres of Madisonville; daughters, Monica Torres (Christian Orona) of Houston & Elizabeth Torres (Fernando Ortiz) of Madisonville; brothers, Rufino, Cristino, Juan, Erasmo, Margarito & Paco Torres; sisters, Silvia, Natividad & Eva Torres and grandchild, Zane Michael & one on the way (Abel Ignacio).

A funeral mass for Eduardo will be held 10 A.M., Friday, September 17, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Fr. Guillermo Gabriel-Maisonet will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Madisonville Cemetery. A visitation will take place Thursday, September 16th from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. with a rosary at 7 P.M. at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.
