Cecil M. Price

Funeral services for Cecil Price, age 78, of Madisonville, Texas, will be held 2 P.M., Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas. Interment will follow in Willowhole Cemetery in North Zulch, Texas. Brad Brock will officiate the service. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 20th from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the funeral home.

Cecil Price was born April 7, 1940 in Henderson, Texas to Charles P. & Maudie (Wyatt) Price. He worked as mechanic on heavy machinery and did maintenance work, as well as, pipeline and road work.

Cecil loved working in the yard and always had an abundant vegetable garden every year. He was married to his wife, Jean McMahan, for forty-four years before her passing. Cecil had been a resident of Madisonville for the past fifty-seven years. He passed away February 18, 2019 in Bryan, Texas. He was a long time resident of Madisonville.

Cecil was preceded in death by both of his parents; wife, Jean McMahan; brothers, Walter, Noah, Trammel, Arthur & Clyde and sister, Betty Lou. He is survived by son, Charles Bruce Price & wife, Caryn, of Onalaska; daughter, Cecelia and husband, Charlie Burgaleta of Madisonville; brother, Delbert Price of Ben Wheeler; sister, Hazelene Price of Ben Wheeler and grandchildren, Alexander Price & wife, Haley and Zachary Price.

Arrangements are under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas.
