Bettie Jo Faust

Bettie Jo Faust, age 82, passed to be with her Lord and savior on February 6, 2021. She was born December 21, 1938 in Madison County, Texas.

Bettie was preceded in death by her father, Burt Oliver Darter and mother, Velma Louise (McWhorter) Darter; first husband, Medford Darrell Stroud; sister, Tommie Dee Gafford and late husband, Eddie W. Faust.

Bettie is survived by her brother, Eddie Herman Darter of Normangee; daughters, Diana Kay (Stroud) Duke and husband, Michael of College Station; Lisa June (Stroud) Garnett and husband, John of Austin; son, Kerry Darrell Stroud and wife, Holly of Normangee; grandchildren, Kelley Scott Duke and wife, Kayla of Irving, Heather Nicole Duke of Irving, Jessica Mignon (Stroud) Dainty and husband, Tim of Normangee, Ethan Darrell Stroud of Madisonville and Madison Jo Garnett of Austin and great-grandchildren, Bennett Grace and Rhett Douglas Dainty of Normangee, along with many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

A public visitation will take place Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.
