Bertha "Annette" Hass

Funeral services for Bertha "Annette" Hass, 80, of Flynn, Texas will be held 11 A.M., Monday, December 20, 2021 at Union Baptist Church in the Ten-Mile Community of Madison County. Pastor Kerry Stroud and Bro. Lee Weiler will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Magnolia City Cemetery, Magnolia, Texas.

Bertha "Annette" Hass was born to Rueben & Jean (Collins) Peikert December 21, 1940 in Galveston, Texas. She was a devoted housewife and homemaker her entire life. Annette was an excellent cook, seamstress and enjoyed reading. She had lived the past twenty-eight years in Flynn, Texas coming from Winnsboro. Annette passed away December 18, 2021 in Madisonville, Texas. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; sons, Roy & Ray Hass; grandson, Bradley Hass; brother, Sonny Peikert and brother-in-law, Ike Vanderford.

Surviving family members include husband, Alton D. Hass, Sr. of Flynn; sons, Doyle (Roxanne) Hass of Flynn and Bryan Hass of Flynn; daughter, Sheryl Harris of Tyler; brothers, Billy (Mary) Peikert of Athens and Gary (Lori) Peikert of Soldotna, AK; sister, Gloria Vanderford of Magnolia; grandchildren, Justin (Ashley), Jerrad (Madison), Shelby (Kylie) and Taylor; great-grandchildren, Bonnie, Emily, Jacob, Jackson, Cooper and Harper and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
