Austin Lee Cole was born June 21, 1995 in Dyersburg, Tennessee to Tracy Cole & Angela (White) Cole. He was raised in Obion, Tennessee until the age of twelve, he then moved to Talihina, Oklahoma. Following high school graduation, Austin attended Tulsa Welding School in Oklahoma for a short time until he decided to come to North Zulch to be taught his trade by the best—his own family. It was while working for his Uncle Danny as a heavy equipment operator that Austin gave himself the job title, “Hoe Hand from the Promised Land.”

Austin was a country boy through and through. He enjoyed coon hunting and noodling for catfish, as well as playing his guitar and singing for several country bands. Most of all, Austin’s passion was riding motorcycles. He was a member of Brotherhood Forever MC in Limestone County and had recently purchased a new Harley Davidson Motorcycle, his most cherished bike.

Austin had lived in the North Zulch area for the past eight years and was a member of Iola Worship Center in Iola, Texas. He passed away tragically July 24, 2021 in Groesbeck, Texas. Austin was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Terry Cole; maternal grandfather; James Luther White; paternal great-grandparents, Craig & Oletha Cole; maternal great-grandparents, Herman & Edith Long and Billy & Frances Evans and aunt, Joyce Diane Evans.

Surviving family members include father, Tracy Cole of Obion, TN; mother, Angela Cole of Bryan; paternal grandmother, Rita Cole of Obion, TN; maternal grandparents, Alberta White of Talihina, OK and Billy Dale & Joyce Evans of North Zulch; sister, Mollye Ashton White of Normangee, nephew, Luther James Dale “Luke” White; girlfriend, Samantha Olmstead of Willis, his “brother,” Dean Williams of Normangee and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family, as well as a host of friends.
