Margaret Ann (Anderson) David

Margaret David passed on August 29th, 2018. She was born as Margaret Ann Anderson to Lambert and Emma (Rogas) Anderson, a German and Swedish family from Manor, Texas, on November 6th, 1930. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph David, and her parents, Lambert and Emma Anderson. She is survived by her brother, L. A. Anderson; her sisters, Emily Nichols and Betty Tarnowski; her children, Butch David and wife Susie, Brenda David Streater and husband Darrell; three grandchildren, Joey and Jeff David and Rachel Streater; four great grandchildren, George and Charlie David, Lila and Luke David; and many nieces and nephews.

Margaret married Joe in 1948 and was a loving and supportive wife to him for 69 years. Early in their marriage, she ran the family dairy while he worked in the construction and insulation industries.

When the dairy was sold in the mid-60s, she worked for TRW in the NASA division and in the banking industry until she retired.

She was famous for her peanut brittle and each year friends and family asked if she was going to make it again that year. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by everyone that knew her. It is bitter to lose her, but sweet to know she has gone home.
