Eraclio Hinojosa

A funeral mass for Eraclio Hinojosa, age 69 of Madisonville, Texas, will be held at 10 A.M., Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Madisonville. Father Mark C. Kusmirek will officiate the service, and interment will follow in the Madisonville Cemetery. A visitation and rosary will begin at 5 P.M., Monday, January 29th at the church.

Eraclio Hinojosa was born June 8, 1948, in Zacatecas, Mexico to Julian Hinojosa & Nicolasa Adame. He worked in the oil fields for many years as a roughneck. Eraclio enjoyed playing cards, taking walks and gardening. He also enjoyed watching soap operas on television. Eraclio had lived in Madisonville for the past twenty-four years and was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. He passed away January 26, 2018, in Bryan, Texas. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and son, Andres Hinojosa.

Surviving family members are wife, Maria A. Castaneda de Hinojosa of Madisonville; children, Julian Hinojosa (Angelica), Juan Manuel Hinojosa (Mayela), Victoria Hinojosa (Martin), Jose Hinojosa (Laura), Veronica Hinojosa (Cruz), Omar Hinojosa (Rose), Zoila Hinojosa (Jose Manuel) & Jasmin Hinojosa (Marco) and sisters, Justina Adame & Juana Hinojosa. Eraclio is also survived by grandchildren, Anay, Julian, Andy, Osmar Andres, Aylin, Isacc, Angela Ariana, Alma, Ana Cristina, Valeria, Patricia, Natalie, Joe, Melissa, Vanessa, Andrea, Andres Jr., Jose, Yenifer, Juan, Sandra Iveth, Omar Jr., Guadalupe Nicole, Said, Davian, Rodrigo Antonio, Jaden Noe & Zoe Aleina and great grandchildren, Estrella, Juan Diejo, Daena, Iker & Ave Mary.
