Dave Andrew Cole

Funeral services for Dave Cole, age 44, of Madisonville, will take place 2 P.M., Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Madisonville, Texas. Rev. Joshua Crutchfield, Bro. Glenn Connor and Bro. Terry Dean will officiate the service. Mr. Cole will be laid to rest in the Ten Mile Cemetery near Normangee. The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M., Tuesday, June 26th at the First Baptist Church.

Dave Andrew Cole was born March 30, 1974 in Madisonville, to Arnold Cole and Helen (Brown) Cole. He grew up and lived in Madisonville his entire life. Dave was employed by the Texas Department of Transportation for 22 years. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Madisonville. He graduated from Madisonville High School in 1992. He showed, volunteered and supported the Madison County Fair Association throughout his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends on the front porch. He also enjoyed roping and riding horses, watching John Wayne movies, and working cows.

Dave passed away June 26, 2018, in Madisonville, at the age of 44 years. He was preceded in death by both of his grandparents and his Uncle William Cole. Surviving family members are his wife, Stephanie (Schroeder) Cole of Madisonville, parents Arnold and Helen Cole of Madisonville; brother Steven Cole and wife Katherine of Normangee; daughter Hannah (Cole) Henry and husband Evan; sons Cody Cole and Tyler Martin; In-Laws Milton and Wanda Schroeder of Anderson; Brother and Sister In-Laws William and Mallory Schroeder of Bryan, and Stephen (Rooster) and Miranda Schroeder of Brenham; Uncles and Aunts Nap and Martha Cole of Bryan, Eunice Cole of Madisonville, James Brown of Madisonville; Nephews and Niece Jacob, Samuel, and Andrew Cole of Normangee, Leylan and Lexan Schroeder of Brenham, Hayden and Charly Mae Schroeder of Bryan. He is also survived by many cousins and extended family.

Honorary Pallbearers: Terry Dean, Roy Pilgrim, Raymon Crow, Joe James, Chuck Heath, Marvin Craig, Carl Schroeder, and Ricky Kimich.

Dave volunteered and supported the Madison County Fair Association, in honor of his wishes memorial donations may be made to the Dave Cole Memorial Scholarship that was set up in his honor, P.O. Box 1151 Madisonville, Texas 77864.
